The Japanese Social Innovation Journal (JSIJ) is now accepting articles that analyze social/community enterprises, particularly those with socially innovative programs that contribute to the development of human capital, job creation and overall economic and social well-being of communities.
This special issue of the JSIJ aims to:
(1) address the idiosyncrasy of and challenges in business planning of a social/community enterprise;
(2) analyze and measure various community impacts made by social/community enterprises;
(3) examine the roles of institutions, non-profit/-government organizations and government in developing the social/community enterprise sector and human capital in the sector;
(4) investigate the adequacy of policy measures for the sustainable development of social/community enterprises and the sector.
Deadline for the submission of articles is August 31, 2014.
