Dr. Mila Gasco is a researcher at the Institute of Public Governance and Management, ESADE. She has worked on information society issues since 2000, with a particular emphasis on e-government and e-governance. At the International Institute of Governance of Catalonia she was the coordinator and main researcher of the Information and Knowledge Society area of LAGNIKS (Latin America Governance Network Information and Knowledge System). She has worked for several local and national public administrations as well as for international organizations, such the OAS, the CLAD and the European Commission, and companies such as Google. Her teaching is also related to innovation through ICT. Dr. Gascohas published several international articles and contributed to books on e-governance and e-government. In 2009 she published a book on the role of ICT in city marketing (IGIGlobal).
