Dr Frankie Schram is professor of public administration. His main interests and publications are focussed on the relationship between the role of complaint management and the work of ombudsmen, freedom of information, re-use of public information and integrity management. Alongside his work at the KU Leuven, he is a member and secretary of the Federal Commission for the Access to and reuse of public sector documents, and a member and secretary of the Federal Appeal Commission on access to environmental information. Most recently he contributed to the European Journal of Consumer Law (2011) regarding the 'access to administrative documents in Belgium: an example of transparency in the European Union.
