Wouter van Acker studied at both the Radboud University Nijmegen and the KU Leuven. At the latter he obtained a Master's degree in Comparative and International Politics (KU Leuven, 2012), and a Master's degree in Public Management and Public Policy (KU Leuven, 2013), both with distinction. Since November 2014, he is working as a PhD candidate at the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute for the LIPSE project. His research focusses on the sustainability of social innovations in the public sector, and on the role of feedback, accountability and learning mechanisms therein.
