Prof. Erik-Hans Klijn is professor at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Visiting professor at Birmingham University. Since 2012 he acts as president of the International Society of Public Management. Klijn is an international distinguished Public Administration scholar especially in the field of complex decision-making, (policy) networks and network management. Bibliographic analysis of articles about networks shows that Klijn belongs to the 5 most cited authors worldwide (Hwang and Moon, 2009). His book (together with Joop Koppenjan) 'Managing uncertainties in networks' (Routlegde, 2004) is a well known book in network management.
