Dr Marta Orviska is an associate professor of Finance, Banking and Investment at Mateja Bela University. Her research interest is focused on macroeconomics and public finance, including tax policy and administrative costs of taxation, tax evasion, voting behaviour and the analysis of attitudes to, for example, NATO and the EU in the new applicant countries and new members of the EU, and to new technologies. She has published a number of articles in these areas, including in the European Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Common Market Studies, Economics of Governance, Journal of Policy Modelling, Drug Discovery Today and Nano Today. She published for instance in 2009 on internet usage in the EU in Information Economics and Policy (vol. 26, nr.4).
