Carmen Savulescu is a lecturer at the Faculty of Public Administration. She specialises in e-government, IT for public administration, consultancy and design of programmes in the public sector and human resource management.

She has attended several national and international conferences, presenting papers on the issue of e-government. She has also participated in European and national research projects. She published in 2010 an article in  Theoretical and Applied Economics ( no;11) on 'public integrity: economic freedom and governance performance':  a comparative study for the EU member States and the acceding countries.

Public sector innovation is found in several publications in the above fields as well as in many research contracts financed by national and European research authorities. The most relevant publications approach e-government services and European and regional comparative studies on e-government.
