Prof. Taco Brandsen is a professor in comparative public administration in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Radboud. He is a board member of the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) and Vice-President for Europe of the International Research Symposium on Public Management (IRSPM). He is the coordinator of the 7th EU Framework Programme project WILCO on social innovation: a ten-country comparative project on social innovation in European cities. His work has focused on issues of innovation in, and the governance of, public services. His articles have been in Public Administration, Public Administration Review, Social Policy and Administration and Public Management Review. Recently he published 'New Public Governance, the third sector and coproduction' (Routledge 2011). His inevitable special expertise was the main reason the add him, besides the EUR participation, to the group of Dutch researchers.
